On a related subject, some other needs aren't being met in that none of my colleagues seem to be aware of the serious existential threat to trans people in the US & UK, with current violence and scapegoating in the former likely to matched in the latter soon. I worry that neurodivergence makes it hard to communicate this to them.

I suppose I wondered if you could speak more to how you are triggered in teaching your neurodiverse students?
I think miscommunications are a common experience for neurodiverse folk, but you are highly trained, I wonder if you could put it to them in paper?
